The Marion County Commissioners will be together this week, but not to conduct County Business. The Commissioners will be attending a virtual Continuing Education Class and will be in the Commissioners Courtroom.
Marion County Judge Leward LaFleur posted notice on Thursday about the upcoming training sessions and how the Commissioners will be together, thus creating a quorum.
The dates will be:
- Wednesday, August 26, from 1-5:15 p.m.
- Thursday, August 27, from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Friday, August 28, from 8:30 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
This is because the continued education school is closed to in-person sessions due to COVID-19.
No decisions, votes, or discussions of County business will occur.
