The Jefferson Lady Bulldogs picked up three straight wins over the Christmas break before dropping a district bout to Tatum on Tuesday.
The most recent win came with a 64-41 final over Troup on Jan. 2 at home.
Ja’Kayla Rusk led the attack with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Tierrani Johnson had 21 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals.
Da’Navia Thomas added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists.
Kristen Thomas offered 5 points and 11 rebounds.
NeNe Burns added 3 points
TK Trammer had 2 points and 2 rebounds.
TJ Hood scored 1 point.
Prior that the Troup win, the Lady Bulldogs topped Waskom 57-48 on Dec. 31 on the road.
Kristen Thomas led the way with 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Da’Navia Thomas added 12 points, 3 assists and 2 steals.
Rusk offered 11 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists.
Johnson had 7 points. 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 1 block.
Hood had 6 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists
Iyanna Barnett had 2 points, 6 rebounds and 1 block.
NeNe Burns landed 2 points.
The Lady Bulldogs also picked up a narrow 62-61 win over Longview Heat at home on Dec. 29.
They dropped a 51-31 final to Tatum Tuesday night on the road.
They will meet Harleton for a district match on Friday.
Currently the Lady Dawgs are 5-3 overall and 3-2 in district play.
