USDA grants available
The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is making $1 million available to support the adoption of innovative conservation approaches on agricultural lands in Texas.
Texas NRCS is accepting proposals through April 16, 2021, for state Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG), a competitive program that supports the development of new tools, approaches, practices, and technologies to further natural resource conservation on private lands.
Mims to host fish fry
Mims VFD ladies auxiliary is sponsoring a drive thru, carry-out only Fish Fry. Friday Feb. 26, 2021, from 4 – 7 p.m. or until sold out.

They event will be located in the Mims Community Center, 12727 F M 729, Avinger, Texas, on the north side of Lake o the Pines.
