Early voting set for city election

Early voting for the 2021 City of Jefferson elections will begin at 8 a.m. Monday, April 19, at City Hall.

One Alderman seat is available in each ward.

Jim Finstrom is running unopposed for Alderman Ward 1.

Incumbent Tyrani Braddock is facing Robin Moore for the Ward 2 Alderman seat.

Former Ward 1 Alderman Richard Turner faces off against Incumbent Victor Perot for the Ward 3 Alderman position.

Registered city voters will be able to cast their ballot each day from 8a.m. to 5 p.m. at City Hall. The City will also offer extended voting hours on Monday, Aprll 19, and April 27. Those days early voting will run from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. An additional Saturday,  April 24, 2021, will be available for voters as well this year and those polls will be open from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Early voting runs through April 27, with the general election on May 1, 2021.
