Stephen Pullum, a 1984 graduate of Jefferson High School, has received multiple Global Recognition Awards in Cyber Security thus far in 2021.
On April 21, Pullum was appointed as Ambassador, North America for the Africa Cyber Defense Forum (ACDF) based in Nairobi, Kenya. The ACDF is Continental platform for top-level Government officials, Technology Experts, and Business Leaders in the total African Cyberspace.
On April 24, he was awarded the first ever Blacks in Cybersecurity (BIC) Image Award for Cybersecurity Pioneer. The BIC, based in Washington D.C., represents over 11,000 members in locations such as Canada, Europe, Kenya, Nigeria, and the United States.
On May 17, Pullum was accepted into the HARVARD University Kennedy School of Executive Education in the Leadership and Character in Uncertain Times program. HARVARD University is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts and the HARVARD Kennedy School is the global thought leader in public policy and public leadership education.
On May 24, he was inducted into the Who’s Who in Cyber Security 2021 by Top Cyber News Magazine. Top Cyber News Magazine, based in France and Monaco, was started by Dr. Stephane Nappo in 2009 with over 29,000 followers globally.
Pullum currently runs his own cyber security based in Accra, Ghana.
