Mr. Thompson was born on February 20,1949 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Carl Morris Thompson and Nettie Fitzgerald Thompson and passed away at his home in Jefferson, Texas on July 15, 2021.
Mr. Thompson was a veteran that served bravely in the United States Marine Corp in Vietnam.
Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Patterson of Jefferson; daughter, Crystal Hampton and husband Shane of Marshall; daughter, Carla Simmons of Avinger; son, Carl Thompson, Jr. of Jefferson; 6 grandchildren as well as numerous other extended family and friends.
