Come Play With Trains
The Museum is seeking one or two volunteer docent/operators for showing and operating the fabulous R.D. Moses Model Railroad exhibit to Museum visitors. This would entail being “on-call” to operate the model railroad at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm on a designated week day as scheduled in advance. The volunteers would be trained to operate the model railroad by the Jefferson and Cypress Bayou Model Railroad Club who has the responsibility of maintaining and operating the model railroad for the Museum. This volunteer activity will give one the opportunity to meet and greet visitors to Jefferson and the joy of “playing” with model trains. If interested, please contact the Museum. 903-665-2775.”
