The Jefferson Lady Bulldog Basketball team is off to a perfect 2-0 in district play after wins over Arp and Elysian Fields over the course of the past week.
Most recently, the Lady Dawgs dominated Elysian Fields with a 60-20 final on the road Tuesday.
Da’Navia Thomas led the attack 21 points and three rebounds.
TJ Hood had 19 points and six rebounds.
Iyanna Barnett offered nine points and five rebounds.
Kristen Thomas scored five points and grabbed four rebounds.
Jaida Bray had two points and four rebounds.
Jordyn Davidson had three points and two rebounds.
Amirie Pryor had one point and three rebounds.
The Lady Dawys opened district play at home on Friday, Dec. 17 with a 35-22 win over Arp.
Da’Navia Thomas and Bray both offered ten points and four rebounds in that affair.
Kristen Thomas had eight points and five rebounds.
Hood chipped in five points and two rebounds.
Davidson had two points and four rebounds.
Barnett grabbed six rebounds.
The Lady Bulldogs will return to action on Dec. 28 in Longview against East Texas Homeschool. Tip off is set for 2 p.m.
The will return to district action on New Year’s Eve at home against Waskom.
