According to FaceBook posts by his family, former Marion County Sheriff David McKnight passed away early Saturday, February 19, 2022.
“Dad went to his Heavenly home this morning!”, wrote son Harris McKnight. “We wasn’t ready but he was! This past year has. been trying for him with the loss of his brothers, loosing his independence of not being able to walk and dependent on oxygen but i find strength and peace knowing he’s healed form all the earthly things.”
