Shalom Chaverim
If you are pressured with the cares of life, you are not alone! Many people are experiencing the same pressures. Our world has gone through many challenges in the past, and will continue to face challenges in the future. My concern, as a spiritual leader, is along with the challenges and pressures of life comes fear affecting the peace of mind and overall health. Worrying and blaming others only brings more problems.
1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.
We have to learn how to conquer fears and worries,,so we can conquer the challenges of many things unknown to us. Conquering fear gives you authority in your life.
God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7
When we learn to put God first, and trust him, we will live in God’s everlasting peace, a supernatural shalom. It is not the peace man gives that eventually passes away.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6
The problems we face may be new to us, but they are not new in the world.
What has been is what will be, what has been done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun. Ecclesiastes 1:9
God tells us anything that happens in life, be it wars or plagues, is not a new problem. It may have a new name, but it has been around before. Since it is not new, we have a confirmed answer.
Who is our Messiah who delivers us from all evil? If we stop trying to perfect things in our own strength, and turn to God and not religion, we can find shalom.
Yeshua came to deliver us from fears, worries, and anxieties. He came to heal the broken hearted and all we have to do is say yes to Him. Peace can be ours in the middle of the storms. We put our faith in God, not in religion or man.
Praying for our leaders, and choosing leaders who are God fearing, can bring us hope because they care about our nation. The problems won’t go away, but in choosing God-fearing leaders, it will help our world be a better place. People have different religions they turn to. However, religion will not change anything. It is the relationship with the one true God. All other gods want you to give to them, but Yeshua gave Himself for you.
We bring the sacrifice of praise in love and commitment. After all, we are the bride and Messiah (the groom) will very soon be returning to take us home.
The Hebrew word of today is Deliver. Hebrew Yasha : To save, to save from moral troubles, be delivered, liberated, victorious.
