The Jimplecute is doing a Basketball Program! It will be available for the First Home Game! This is something NEW, but just like the Football Program the proceeds will go to the Jefferson Athletic Booster Club.
The last couple of years we’ve been trying to find something else to do for our late Fall and Spring athletic events. I’ve looked at posters, booklets, trading cards…. but, let’s face it, we’ve busy and haven’t been able to carve out the time to do it properly. But NOT NOW!
Whitney Adair Gibbs Goebel stepped up this fall and offered to help. We’d decided on a poster for the Basketball Teams and she said “Why not a program?” She did some talking to parents and got tentative agreements. So we’re trying it!
This will be a 40 page booklet (5.5in by 8.5in) full color and will include 7th, 8th, and High School Basketball Teams.
This is something new, so we’re trying to see how it goes over. Space is VERY LIMITED. There are only 34 pages for ads, so get yours quick! Due to press limitations on this one, we can’t make it any bigger. If we get enough ads, we MIGHT split it into two books – one for JJHS and one for High School. But that depends on how many ads we get.
