At right, Marion County Deputy Chris Maxwell graduated from the Kilgore Police Academy on Feb. 2, 2023. Previously, Maxwell worked as a jailer for Marion County Sheriff’s Office. Upon graduation from the academy, Maxwell was sworn in as a full-time deputy.
