Ladies drop final games

The Lady Bulldogs dropped their final two games of the season after a 15-13 win over Waskom. Two big innings, one in each game proved too much for them to overcome losing 15-0 at West Rusk and 10-0 in their final home game hosting Arp.

Jefferson @ West Rusk

The Lady Bulldogs loaded the bus for the final time this season as they headed down to West Rusk to close out their road portion of district play.

The first inning and a half were held scoreless by both teams but in the bottom of the second West Rusk got on the board and never looked back.

The following inning Jefferson was once again held scoreless before West Rusk put up a 12 spot in the bottom of the third putting any chance of a comeback win out of reach.

Arp @ Jefferson

Steady scoring from Arp over the first three innings spoiled the Lady Bulldogs Senior night.

Arp got on the board early leading 2-0 after the first. The Tigers then tacked on two in the second and six in the third to seal the 10-0 victory over the Lady Bulldogs.

This wrapped up the season for the Lady Bulldogs as they went 7-12 overall falling just short of .500 for year.
