The Bulldog baseball team played their final home game of the season on Friday hosting Tatum. It was also senior night where all the senior Bulldogs were recognized. They then headed down to Troup on Tuesday to face the Tigers for the final games of the season.

Tatum @ Jefferson

The Bulldogs and Eagles held each other scoreless in the first inning before Tatum busted out five runs in the second that ended up being too much for Jefferson to overcome.

Clark of the Bulldogs reached base in the bottom of the fourth on an error by Eagles third basemen Kiefer. Their hopes of getting on the board was ended when Harper grounded out into a double play to end the inning.

A scoreless fifth and sixth inning followed before Tatum tacked on a run in the top of the seventh going up 6-0. The Eagles struck out the final three batters for the Bulldogs ending any threat of a comeback.

Jefferson @ Troup

A five spot in the bottom of the sixth for Troup ended up being the difference at the end.

The Tigers of Troup got out to an early 2-0 lead in the first before the Bulldogs plated three in the top of the third going up 3-2. In the bottom of the frame the Tigers drove in two more to retake the lead 4-3.

A scoreless fourth inning followed before the Bulldogs added a run in the fifth to tie it up. The Tigers threaten in the bottom of the inning putting base runners on before leaving them stranded.

The Bulldogs Washington rocketed a two out single to left field in the top of the sixth before Clark flew out to the shortstop ending any chance of taking the lead.

In the bottom of the sixth the Tigers pushed across five runs to break the 4-4 tie that ended up being the difference. The Bulldogs once again got a baserunner in the top of the seventh but was unable to produce anything falling to the Tigers 9-4.
