Burn ban lifted

Marion County Judge Leward LaFleur lifted the burn ban at 4:30p today.

The order reads:

WHEREAS, circumstances and rainfall totals have improved in Marion County,

Texas such as to justify the termination and lifting. Lifting of the bum ban is appropriate since conditions have improved in Marion County, Texas

ACCORDINGL Y, IT IS ORDERED that the prior ban on outdoor burning is hereby lifted and terminated.
