The Krewe of Hebe hosted this year’s Jefferson Salutes America celebration. The annual event starts off at Otstott Park with a Children’s Parade, then is followed by a Pie & Cake Auction benefiting Youth Programs at the Jefferson Carnegie Library. A concert by the Shreveport Metropolitan Concert Band caps of the activities. But the Fireworks Fantazmagoria ends the evening with fun for all.

‘A ‘Lil Cooler’ took first place in the annual Caddo Lake 4th of July Boat Parade. The parade had 12 entries this year. A thank you to Johnson’s Ranch for hosting the judging and providing music from the Tildon Gillum Band, food and face painting!
