Kurt J. Wayne was born on May 17, 1960 in Kankakee, Illinois, the son of Jack and Sheila Wayne and passed away on August 26, 2023.
He married the love of his life, Sandra Palmer, on December 17, 1983. To this union was born two beloved children, Victoria, who became an artist and Joshua, who became a music teacher.
Kurt graduated from the University of Missouri in 1984 and spent most of his career in the field of communication, ending with an online ministry to help abused children in the Portuguese speaking countries of Angola, Brazil, and Portugal.
Kurt never saw a train he didn’t enjoy watching, spent a day or a travel without learning something new, met a person he couldn’t relate to, or ended a day without a prayer.
Surely, as he transitioned from this life into the next, he heard the words “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
