Felix Love, Jr., was born in Oakland, California, May 5, 1970, to the parentage of Felix Love, Sr., and Maggie Love. He attended school at Napa Junction in Oakland, California at a young age until the family moved to Lodi, Texas. Felix joined Ebenezer CME in Lodi, Texas. Felix went on to graduate high school from Linden High School in 1989.  

Felix became a professional Truck Driver and earned the nick names of “King Pin.” He drove trucks for mor than thirty years until his health made it difficult to do so. He enjoyed joking with his friends, riding motorcycles, fishing, cooking, eating good food, and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.  

Felix was preceded in death by his father, Felix Love, Sr., one brother, Raymond Love, and bonus daughter Katelyn Mutai. 

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife Jada Love, his wonderful children that he adored, Felix Jamal Love, Summer Abara Kye’Andre), Caycen Mutai, and Jayden Garrett, eight grandchildren, his brothers and sisters: Darrell (Camesha) Love, Angela Love, Alex (Linder) Love, Robert (Martha) Love, Phillip (Lynette) Love, Sammie (Clyde) Love Jones, Teresa (Earnest) Thomas, Chiquita Love,  father n-law and mother-n-law, Kent Goodman and Deana Goodman, brother and sister-n-laws Kevin (Marrisha) Goodman Alecia (Chris) Capps  and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.  

Services for Felix “Chew” Love, 53, of Lodi, Texas will be 11:00am Friday, November 10, 2023 at Ebenezer CME in Lodi, Texas under the direction of Lewis & Walker Funeral Home of Jefferson, Texas. 

Felix was born May 5, 1970 and transitioned October 26, 2023 in Dallas, Texas at Parkland Health Hospital surrounded by beloved family and friends. 

Chew was 53 years old.
