Funeral Services for Martha Lorraine McGraw Crawford, 81 of Jefferson, TX will be held Friday November 17, 2023, at 11am in the Cpt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Conatser officiating and under the direction of Haggard Funeral home. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10-11am. Interment will follow at Crawford Family Cemetery.

Martha was born December 29, 1941, in Dallas, Texas to Clifton Kearley McGraw and Lorraine Evelyn Rheinfeldt McGraw and went home to be with the Lord on November 13, 2023.

She was a devoted member of Liberty Baptist Church, and she was very passionate about missions. She spent the majority of her life caring for animals, whether it be rehabilitating wildlife or raising livestock. Her most favorite hobbies included working in her greenhouse, crafting and designing her own stuffed teddy bears. In her later years, she enjoyed attending estate sales and collecting dishware. She found the most joy when she was spending time with her family. She would say that her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her greatest accomplishments in life. She will be remembered for her spunky personality, generous spirit, unwavering love of Dr. pepper, and big heart. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 46 years; Donald Wayne Crawford, brother; James McGraw, Jonathan McGraw, sister; Mary Elizabeth Perry.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Mary Lynn Crawford, Marla Abernathy and husband J.P., Clifton Crawford and wife Mary, Marcie Whatley and husband Brian, sister; Melinda Kay Sutton and husband Paul, grandchildren; Jared Crawford and wife Abigail, Jaylie Buckner and husband Lee, Caleb Whatley and wife Montana, and Joshua Whatley; great grandchildren; Grayson Crawford and Brennan Crawford. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Serving as Pallbearers will be J.P. Abernathy, Lee Buckner, Clifton Crawford, Jared Crawford, David Perry, and Andrew Perry.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for all donations to be made to the Liberty Baptist Church, 445 C.R. 1648, Jefferson, Texas
