No Fish Fry

Due to the pending inclement weather predicted for Saturday, the Jefferson Veterans of Foreign Wars has canceled their Fish Fry on Saturday. 

Date Change

Jefferson’s Outlaw National’s Car Show has changed their date to April 19-20 to not conflict with a car show in Shreveport. 

Black History

The Corinth Baptist Church and Pastor Christopher Rowden invite the public to participate in their annual Black History program, Sunday February 4th at 2:30 pm, at the Jefferson Jr High auditorium.   Community Builder Sam Collins, President of the Juneteenth Legacy Project of Galveston Texas and professional Actor/Dancer Mariah S Cooper along with other local and former residents will be our special guest. Fundraiser

“A Night of Dramatic Readings to Celebrate the Goddess in All of Us” will be held at 7p February 24, at Art on the Bayou, 205 N. Walnut St. Tickets are $10 per person. A reception with a silent auction will follow the event with all proceeds to go to the Jefferson Police Department Outreach Programs.

Chili Lunch

The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Ladies Altar Society will hold their annual Chili Wednesday lunch from 11:30a-1:30p Wednesday, February 7. Bowls are $10 and all orders are  to-go.
