Caddo Lake: well, the big change going on right now is the rising water.  This can be a positive for catching Bass shallow while they move up with the water and feed in the newly flooded shoreline.  This new shoreline can be covered quickly and efficiently with a Spinnerbait or Chatterbait, and the angler can have some good results.  There is also a lot of Bass in all three phases of the spawn right now, and most of our guide trips for Bass have been good using the Wacky Rig, trick Dtick or Denko type bait rigged weedless.  We have also been doing well on fluke type baits when targeting these spawning bass relating to the cypress trees. Good luck and be safe on Caddo; watch for floating debris, and be mindful of your boat wakes around piers and boathouses.
