Despite the weekend weather running across the region, JHS students competed and placed at the Regional Track Meet.
Josh Bittle placed 3rd in the 200 Meter, and was part of the team which took 5th Place in the 4×200. Other team members in the 4×200 included Ameron Bruce, Ethan Maxwell, and Aldarious Washington.
Luke Elder leapt to 3rd place in the Triple Jump.
Anthony Flenoury took 5th place in the High Jump.
Bryce Clark took 8th place in Shot Put.
Girls track team members also showed well in the meet with Jordyn Davidson taking 4th place in the 400 meter, Adrianna Blanton throwing to a solid 4th place in Shot Put, and Janiyah Ventimiglia leaping to 4th place in the Triple Jump.
In the 4×100, the JHS team took 5th place. Team members included Ventimiglia Alyssa Williams, Jordyn Davidson, and Keyasia Black
