Mother Nature was the real “outlaw” last weekend as regional storms, including some small hail on Saturday, keep participants, visitors away from the weekend’s activities.
The annual Outlaw Nationals car show had it’s lowest turn out in many years, with only about 60 cars braving the storms.
Event organizer Michelle Fox-Davis said that even with the low turnout the event still raised just shy of $8,000 for local charities.
The Marion County 4-H Fair was also rained out, but Extension Agent Doug Weir said they’d try again and the silent auction will be online.
The Paddling Flotilla at Caddo Lake was rescheduled for this weekend.
