Fishing Report

By Mark Allen

Caddo Lake: The lake is starting to change!  A lot of the bass are starting to transition from the spawning phase to their summer time patterns. You can still find some bass around the trees guarding fry. When fishing for these bass, try using a top water for a fluke type bait. A big majority of the bass  that are down with the spawn will start schooling up in their summer time locations and chasing shad. When you are going after these, try using shad colored crankbaits, Texas rigged works, and the swimming craw by “Big Bite Baits” and Texas Rigged as well.
