Fishing Report May 17

Caddo Lake: The Bass fishing has been a little crazy the last few day with the water level going down and up!   The lake level is about 1.5 ft high. The strongest bite going on right now for our guide trips has still been fishing the trees.  We have been using the Texas rigged creature baits and the big worm.  The majority of our bigger fish have been coming from around the single cypress trees in about 4 feet of water.  If you are looking for some faster action, try fishing the Big Cypress Bayou for the schooling White Bass. The Big Cypress has a lot of current right now and really bunches the fish up!  The White Bass should provide some fun action for the young anglers and the older ones as well!  Get out and enjoy beautiful Caddo Lake.
