Memorial Services for James Roger Manning, 77, of Jefferson, were 10 a.m. Wednesday May 29, 2024, in the Cpt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home with Bro. Gene Lee officiating and under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home.
James Roger Manning was born on December 13, 1946, in Jefferson, to James Herbert Manning and Mary Callison Manning and passed away on Friday May 24, 2024 in his home surrounded by his loving family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Roger Scott Manning and his brother, Robert Kenneth Manning.
Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Margie Manning; daughter, Cathy Cason and husband Frank; sister, Rosemary Sharpe; grandchildren, Carly Wall and fiancé Cody Klotz, Aaron Cason and Madison, and Micah Cason and Katlyn; great grandchildren, Keelee, Kaisley, Hazel, and Winston; mother-in-law, Mae Rucker; sister-in-law, Marsha Bradford and husband Travis. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
