Using that rate, Commissioners also approved the 2025 County Budget following public hearings.
The budget will raise more property taxes by $349,580 of 8.36% from last year. Of that, $158,355 is from new property added to the tax roll last year.

Lastly, Commissioners discussed, and ultimately granted approval, for Judge Leward LaFleur to issue a County wide Burn Ban when necessary.
LaFleur and JR Ashley both cited that the County is on the cusp of requiring a ban, but potential rainfall this week might prevent a ban.
LaFleur said he would make a desision towards the end of the week based on what rainfall,, if any, the County receives.
The Jimplecute will post notice of a ban on our website if issued.
