Kenneth Dorgan was born on August 24, 1934 to Edward Dorgan and Ora Derrick. Surrounded by his family, he passed away at home on Friday, September 6, 2024.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, Edward Dorgan and Ora Derrick; son, Steve Dorgan; sisters, Edna Perot and Helen Hampton. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sharon Dorgan; children, Debra Lynn and husband, Joe, Tasha Thornton and husband, Damon, Kendra Woods and husband, Allen, David Smith and wife Angie; Daughter-in-Law, Diane Dorgan; grand children, Adam Brooks, Allen Gober, Josh Lynn, Tresa Lynn, Brandi Stiger, Kim Smith, Ashley Smith, Joseph Woods, Matthew Woods, and Nicholas Woods.
He was born and raised in Jefferson Texas. At a young age, Kenneth entered the workforce. He was a side boom operator on pipelines all across the United States. He loved to garden. His favorite child was his dog, Bud. Honoring his wishes, cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.
