Jefferson’s annual celebration of National Night Out on Tuesday drew record crowds again this year as the event moved to W.F. Lockett Stadium.
Event Organizers Billy Ramsey, and Jefferson Police Department Chief Tino Perez were extremely pleased with the evenings success.
The event has been held at the Jefferson Visitors Center in downtown but had outgrown the location in recent years. JISD Superintendent Michael Walker offered the stadium this year.
Over 1,000 people are estimated to have attended this year’s event. See more pics on page 10.
