Rotary names Students of the Month

Senior Student of the Month

Rotary Club of Jefferson honored Aiden Cooner as the Senior Student of the Month for September. 

Aiden is a Senior at JHS and is the son of Justin and Summer Cooner. Aiden strives every day to be an example for others in and outside of school. He never misses an opportunity to make a new friend. Aiden is highly involved and active within his school. He is a member of HOSA, NTHS, Spanish club, Bulldogs for Christ, and serves as the Secretary of his school’s National Honors Society. Aiden serves as the Master of ceremonies for the Jefferson Bulldog Pep rallies. He competed in UIL competition and won a position on the All Star Cast in One Act Play for   four years in a row. He also participated in political speaking and advanced to regionals in 2023-2024. Aiden is also a student at Panola college through the school and plans to graduate from Panola this year with a medical assistant certification. Aiden has also maintained an A average the last three years and has won numerous awards for his academic excellence.

Junior Student of  the Month

Rotary Club of Jefferson has added a new award this year and we will be awarding a Junior Student of the Month. This months honoree is Brynlie Braddock. 

Brynlie is a Junior at Jefferson High School and she is the daughter of Tyranni and Slater Braddock.  

She is a member of the HOSA organization and JHS Spanish Club. Brynlie is also enrolled at Panola College and is taking dual credit classes all while being a Jefferson Lady Bulldog Athlete. She is a 2-year member of the varsity volleyball team and a 3-year member of the varsity softball team.

Brynlie has also been a cheerleader for the Jr High Bullpups and the JHS Bulldogs. 

Brynlie is an outstanding young lady and is looked up to by her peers. She loves being active and loves helping her friends. 

She hopes to continue her education at Texas Christian University after she graduates next year and plans to study criminal law after graduation in 2026.
