The Metropolitan Jeffersonian Club celebrated their 25th anniversary last weekend with a banquet and honored Mamie Burton Thompson for her years of service to the organization.
MJC is an organization that provides scholarships and assistance to those in Jefferson and Marion County throughout the year.
Dr. John Cooper Jr. was the keynote speaker.
