Caddo Lake: Caddo Lake is getting back to normal pool level. We still have a lot of current, but now most of that is coming from Lake O’ the Pines which is releasing water from the earlier rains. I say all that because a lot of the fish are starting to relate to that current and the shad are starting to group up in those areas. The black bass and the white bass will be mixed together and can create a lot of fun catching fish. When you are fishing these areas use your shad imitating baits. There is still a few bass spawning and hanging around the cypress trees on the main lake. Your chance of landing a big bass will be in these areas. When fishing the trees fish your soft plastic swimbaits, chatterbaits, spinner baits and the wacky worm. These baits will produce for you.
