Jefferson 14U trounces Rough Riders 11-0

Cutter Braddock struck out 12 batters as the starting pitcher led 14u Jefferson Bulldogs past Rough Riders 11-0 on Tuesday. Braddock gave up zero hits and zero runs over six innings while walking two.

14u Jefferson Bulldogs scored eight runs in the fifth inning on the way to victory.  Daylan Lamb doubled, scoring two runs, Rickey Lewis homered to center field, scoring two runs, Keilan Taylor doubled, scoring one run, Gage Morris homered to left field, scoring two runs, and Braddock drew a walk, scoring one run.

14u Jefferson Bulldogs got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Braddock singled, scoring one run, and Cash Zillman homered to center field, scoring two runs.

Tucker Thomason stepped on the mound first for Rough Riders. The pitcher surrendered 10 hits and 11 runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking four.

14u Jefferson Bulldogs accumulated 10 hits in the game. Morris and Taylor were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for 14u Jefferson Bulldogs. Zillman, Lamb, and Lewis each drove in two runs for 14u Jefferson Bulldogs. Khylen Means stole three bases. 14u Jefferson Bulldogs stole eight bases in the game. 14u Jefferson Bulldogs turned one double play in the game. 14u Jefferson Bulldogs were sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Morris had the most chances in the field with 12.

Rough Riders didn’t commit a single error in the field. Thomason had the most chances in the field with one.
