Lady Dawgs even for season

Staff Reports/Max Preps

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch last Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gilmer Buckeyes. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair’s previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20.

They turned it around on Friday by defeating Big Sandy 2-0 in tournament play.

They went into Tuesday’s game against Center with a 6-6 record, but information on that game had not been provided as of press time Wednesday.

They face Kilgore on Thursday, and Atlanta on September 2.
