Dawgs take loss from Timpson, prepare for DeKalb

Jefferson took a hearbreaker loss to Timpson last week 48-29 in their second game of the season.

Jefferson played an impressive passing game against Timpson with Tihmyus Taylor passing to Chris Love for over  100 yards and two touchdowns. 

Kamran Williams ran for 31-yards  and 64-yards for touchdowns as well.

The Dawgs scored in the 2nd and 4th quarters but it wasn’t enough to keep up with Timpson’s running game.

But Timpson simply outran Jefferson, regularly completing run after run of 50 yards or more.

The Dawgs will face the DeKalb Bears on Friday for their first game on the road.

The Bears are 1-0 for the season and ranked #391statewide while the Dawgs are #243. 

The Bears defeated Elysian Fields last week 54-0.

The game starts at 7p in DeKalb and will be livestreamed on BulldogTV on YouTube.
