The 10th Annual East Texas Burn Run is ready to ride next weekend, Oct. 13-15 in downtown Jefferson.
Hosted by the Phoenix Organization of Jefferson and Brothers’ Keepers Motorcycle Club, both 501c3 organizations, the event promises to bring lots of fun to downtown.
Come join the crowd for this wonderful cause.
“Our team consists of several volunteer groups from Jefferson and the area,” said event sponsor Michelle Fox-Davis. “We thank all of you in advance for your time and support and your past attendance has allowed us to nearly double our annual contribution to the Percy R. Johnson Burn Foundation and ‘Camp I’m Still Me’.”
This year there’s a Kids Zone, Bike Games, Bike Show, Poker Run, Live Bands, and a Live Auction. As always there’s the special drawing for the 2023 Harley Davidson Motorcycle. In short, there’s fun for the whole family!
Registration begins at 11 a.m. Friday, October 13, at the corner of Austin and Polk streets. This year on Friday, there will be a ride with a surprise guest with an additional $15 donation or buy online at Event Brite for a VIP ticket. The Ride will be from 4-6 pm.
Saturday, October 14, registration begins at 8am. First bike out for the Poker Run at 9am and last bike in at 2 pm. Bike Games start soon after!
All tickets are $25 for the whole event.
Please join Christian Motorcycle Association on Sunday, October 15th, for a wonderful Church service at 10 am.
Musical entertainment this year begins at 5:30p Friday, includng City Limits, Chasin Benjamins, Jessica Peacock and the Birds of a Feather, Kim Donnette, Loosey Anna, and Dusty Rose, on either the outdoor stage or inside Auntie Skinner’s.
Saturday’s sounds begin at 11:30a with Colton Hagler, Kim Donnette, Rick Brown, Louisiana Pothole, Vinyl Juke Box, The Syndicate, The Crowd, Southern Soul, Captain Joe, and WTW rounding out the evening. Music is coordinated by Rockhouse Productions.
Vendors and food trucks will also be on hand.
Downtown streets will be closed on Friday and Saturday, including portions of Walnut, Austin, Lafayette, and Vale streets, as well as Bateman’s Alley.
