“Art is an effort to make you walk a half an inch above ground.” ~Yoko Ono
And that is exactly what happened last Saturday as over 50 artists setup in various shops across Jefferson to show their talent along side what Jefferson merchants have to offer.
The event was the brainchild of Jennifer Phillips who also opened the Walnut Street Gallery as well this weekend.
“We love this town and are really excited to be able to offer one of a kind beautiful art for you home,” she said.
All of the participating artists were from the East Texas area.
The only negative comment overheard was that the event wasn’t long enough, and Phillips is already planning the next Art Walk for March 2025.
