Debra Howard, 66, of Caldwell, Texas, formerly of Jefferson, Texas, passed away Friday, November 15, 2024, in Temple, Texas.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at Noon at the Caldwell Assembly Church in Caldwell. Austin Powell & Pastor Jacob Roach will officiate.
The family will receive guests from 11:00 to Noon Wednesday for a public viewing and gathering.
Debra was born December 7, 1957, in Jefferson, Texas to parents Cleo & Bessie (Wood) Powell.
She married Louis Howard, June 26, 1991, in Houston, Texas.
A few things about Debra were, she was an incredibly good cook, loved to travel, she loved working with her plants and was a very hard worker. She enjoyed life to the fullest and loved her family, especially her children.
She was preceded in death by her parents Cleo & Bessie Powell, by a son, Jeffrey Belless, a brother Randal Powell, a brother-in-law James Chapline and a nephew Larry Don Powell.
Debra is survived by her loving husband of thirty-three years, Louis Howard of Caldwell, TX., three sons, Travis Belless & wife Brenna of Caldwell, TX., Louis Howard jr. and wife Emilie of College Station, TX., Joe Howard of Brenham, TX., daughter, Beth Markwardt of Cypress, TX., daughter-in-law Ana Gaucin of Caldwell, TX., two brothers, Lawrence Wayne Powell and wife Carol, and Jerry Lynn Powell and wife Jerry Ann of all of Jefferson, TX., brother-in-law Jesse Howard and wife Charlotte of Caldwell, TX., sister Linda Chapline of Elkhart, TX., Liz Powell sister-in-law Gayla Zientek and husband Norman of Caldwell, TX., sister-in-law, Liz Powell of Jefferson, TX., mother-in-law Janelle Howard, grandchildren, Jordan Brickman and wife Joanna, Parker Belless, Hayley Belless, Adrian Belless, Nevaeh Gallegos, Anthony Gallegos, Zachery Belless, Rachel Belless and Sammy, Damion Belless, Garrett Dyall, Mackenzie Dyall, Tommy Markwardt and Andrew Markwardt, also by numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Serving as pallbearers are, Travis Belless, Louis Howard Jr, Jordan Brickman, Parker Belless, Zachery Belless and Damion Belless.
