Girls top New Diana, 47-27

Jefferson Lady Dawgs made it 10 in a row after defeating New Diana Tuesday night 47-27.

The win also solidified their 1st place in District ranking. Their record is now 6-0 in District and 18-10 overall.

Leading the Dawgs was Keinysa Wallace (#5) with 17 points including 5 field goals, 1 3-pointer and 6 free throws. She also had 2 turnovers, 13 rebounds and 2 personal fouls.

Right behind her was Jordyn Davidson (#2) with 12 points, including 5 field goals, and 2 3-pointers. She also had 4 turnovers, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals.

Rounding out the scoring was Stormi McNeil (#10) with 7 points, Janna Goynes (#1) with 5 points, Destiny Kelly (#3) with 4 points, and Jazmyne Luster (#22) with 2 points.

The Dawgs also defeated Harmony Eagles last Friday 52-24.

McNeil and Davidson led the Dawgs in scoring with 12 and 8 points respectively.

The ladies will face Daingerfield on Friday on the road.
