The Jefferson Bulldog Football team will come through downtown Jefferson on Polk Street around 3:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon on their way to Gladewater to play the Malakoff Tigers that evening.

Everyone is encouraged to line the street to cheer the players, band, cheerleaders, strutters (and anyone else I missed) on their way!

Come show your support. As always, the Herald will be live as they pass through.

If you can, also try and attend the Pep Rally, starting about 2:45p at the High School.

From FaceBook and Dina Carol: We will take the boys and the bus through downtown to allow people to safely get out and cheer them on. The bus will head down Broadway (past Brookshires and V-Mart). They will turn on to Polk Street and head through downtown so that the business owners and patrons can line the streets in parade type fashion. They should be going through downtown by 3:30, so if you attend the pep rally, you’ll have time to get downtown and get setup to send them off in a large fashion!!

PLEASE SHARE!!!!
On Thursday, November 21st, your Jefferson Bulldogs will take on the Malakoff Tigers for a rematch of gladiators. Our young men will be leaving the high school campus right after the pep rally. WE ARE ASKING THE COMMUNITY TO PLEASE LINE THE STREETS FROM THE HIGH SCHOOL OUT TOWARDS 2208 as the Bulldogs leave en route to Gladewater. Please come out and cheer on these young men!! They would be so pumped to see you out there cheering them on to victory!!! Pep rallies are generally over by 3:20.
We hope to see you THURSDAY afternoon!! 🐾♥️🐾
