In the July 23, 2021, edition of the Jimplecute, it was reported that a new public parking lot was being constructed between Dallas, Lake, and Market streets. While this is correct, the manager of the property, Colt Johnson, wished to clarify it’s use when complete. He said the lot will be “available for customers of restaurants located in the immediate vicinity and will include a time limit to encourage customer turnaround.” Overnight, or all day-parking will not be allowed.
