Bethel Baptist hosts Easter Homecoming 

Bethel Baptist Church will have Homecoming Easter Sunday, April 17. Sunday School will be at 10 a.m. with a Worship Service 11 a.m. 

Following Worship Service, lunch will be provided in the Fellowship Hall followed by an Egg Hunt. The public is invited to come Worship and Fellowship.

Bethel was Organized in 1901.

Annual Egg Hunt set at Lake o’ the Pines

The annual Lake o’ the Pines Community Easter Egg Hunt will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 16, at Hurricane Creek Recreation Area.

Thousands of Easter eggs will be stuffed with goodies.

The event will include music, snow cones and fun for the whole family.

Passover observed

Passover service will be observed by Bethel Temple Fellowship at 5p.m. Saturday, April 16 at the Jefferson First United Methodist Church Activity Center.

Easter Brunch 

on the menu 

An Easter Brunch Buffet will be available from 10:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Sunday at 1852 on Austin. 

Live music will be provided Payton Pierce. 

Egg Hunt on Polk Street

Total Farm will host its first ever Easter Egg Hunt Saturday morning. 

The event will be located at 601 South Polk Street, Jefferson. Just over the bridge to the left.

Egg Hunt will kick-off at 10 a.m. 

The fun will last until 1 p.m. and include games, lamb viewing, a visit with the Easter Bunny, and more. 

Sonrise service slated

Lake O’ the Pines Baptist Church (LOPBC) will host an Easter Sonrise Service at 7 a.m. Sunday, April 17 at the Johnson Creek Park Amphitheater. 

Breakfast will follow at 8:30 a.m. at the LOBC campus. 

Sunday School will be at 9:30 a.m. Regular services will follow at 10:45 a.m. and the community is invited to Easter lunch at the church campus.

FRESH celebrates community

FRESH will host an Easter Egg Hunt from 2-3 p.m., April 16, at Jefferson Community Center. 

The public is encouraged to bring the kids out to have some fun.

Food and drinks will be provided along with cash eggs.

‘All Aboard’
the Easter Egg Express

The public is invited to come ride the Easter Egg Express at the Historic Jefferson Railway.

The train will leave the station at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 16. 

After the ride on the gas powered locomotive, kids under 10 can participate in an Easter Egg Hunt.

Heritage Baptist hosts Candy Scramble 

Heritage Baptist Church will celebrate Easter services Sunday morning at 8 and 9 a.m.

Breakfast will be served afterwards at 10:30 a.m. and a Candy Scramble to follow for all youth.
