Caddo Lake: Texas rigged Big Bite Bait Finesse Worms with an 1/8 o. weight have been producing around schools of bass in the Big Cypress Bayou area! Vibrating jig, such as the Chatterbait, with the Big Bite Baits “Cane Thumper” trailer, has been a big producer. Topwaters like “popping baits” are also a good bait of choice. With the water being so low, it has pushed the bass close to deeper water, and that sometimes is still shallow like 2.5-3 feet.  Keep a close eye for the blue herons and the white egrets as they are around the bait fish, and the bass are going to be there too…
