The 3rd Annual Robert E. Lee Memorial Dual Sport Adventure Ride is set for Thursday as a part of the 21st Annual Diamond Don’s Vintage Motor Cross this weekend in Jefferson at Diamond Don’s RV Park off Hwy 49E.
The ride will kick-off at 8 a.m. with a breakfast and rider’s meeting.
The first bike out is set for 9a. There are no registration fees, but all bikes participating must be street legal. The gate fee to Diamond Don’s RV Park for this event has been waived but a standard release disclaimer is still required.
The ride is a fundraiser for the Jefferson Adopt-A-Cop organization which helps law enforcement officers in Marion County pay for required equipment which is not provided by their employer. Last year the event raised over $5,000.
