Graveside Services for Mildred Gloria McNeely, 87, of Jefferson, TX will be held Sunday November 19, 2023, at 11am in Trinity Cemetery in Jefferson, TX with Bro. Steve Rushing officiating and under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home.
Mildred Gloria McNeely passed away after a short, courageous battle with colon cancer on November 4th, 2023, while residing at Cypress Place assisted living in Jefferson, TX
She was born December 20th, 1935, in Smithland, TX and lived there her entire life on the family homestead. She was known to locals as being energetic and had a feisty personality. She will be truly missed by everyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry Bailey McNeely and Virginia Taylor McNeely of Smithland, TX, Brothers, Dale McNeely, Blair and Margie McNeely, and Larry McNeely of Smithland, TX.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law Wendell and Ginger McNeely of Marshall, TX., sister-in-law Betty McNeely of Smithland, TX. Her cousins, Donald Taylor, Mary Ansley and Dixie Whitley and many beloved nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
