The Marion County Pct. dumpsite is moving!
Commissioner Ralph Meisenheimer started the move of relocating the County dumpsite earlier this year by purchasing and working to clear and prepare the new property.
For more than 30 years, the County has leased the property where the dumpsite was located. When the new location became available, Meisensheimer aske the County to acquire it to eliminate the lease in the future.
The current dumpsite has been closed since December 23, and the new location will open on January 4.
The new location is located at 936 MA County Road 3503, just a little further down the road from the current dumpsite.
