Graveside services for Brenda Lee Morgan, 72, of Jefferson, Texas will be held at 2 pm Saturday Jan. 6, 2024, at Berea cemetery with Pastor Brody Woodard officiating and under the direction of Haggard Funeral Home. A time of visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Friday Jan. 5, 2024, at the Capt. Wm. Perry Chapel of Haggard Funeral Home.
Mrs. Morgan was born on Dec. 10, 1951, to Wayne Harris and Ann Foster Harris in Fort Worth, Texas and passed away on Dec. 31, 2023, in Jefferson.
Brenda married the love of her life on Dec. 22, 1970, and was blessed with 53 years of marriage and two children. She was a LVN and loved working with the elderly. She had a love for animals, especially dogs and horses. Most of all, Brenda loved her family. Her goal everyday was to make someone smile or laugh.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Toby Shane Morgan; brothers, Stacy Harris and Ricky Harris.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Morgan; children, Tonya Riddle and husband Kenny; sister, Sharon Stowe; grandchildren, Brittney Stewart, Trent Stewart, Taylor Morgan, John Morgan, Sammy Norris, Hannah Heidelberg and husband Alex; and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Charlie Calloway, Alex Heidelberg, Terrence Jimerson, Kenny Riddle, Trent Stewart, Jerry Lynn Powell, Taylor Morgan, and Gume Mollinedo.
