Ralph Meisenheimer

I am Ralph Meisenheimer Marion County Commissioner Precinct 3. I am a 5th generation Jeffersonian and proud to call Marion County home.  I have had 21 years of County road experience.  I have been a construction business owner for many years.  I have held many credentials including Certified Floodplain Manager.

I am currently chairman of the Cypress Valley Navigation District Board.

I have used my current term to achieve a number of improvements.   Equipment has been updated, many deteriorated cross culverts have been replaced and a new solid waste facility was built. The new site is owned instead of leased.  The facility has space for roadway/ditch debris , stock piles of road material, and a second dumpster to accommodate Precinct growth.

I worked with Precinct 1 to purchase a Gradall excavator to be shared. This piece of equipment was proven invaluable in last year’s tornado aftermath.

I would like to continue to improve Precinct 3. With increased funding in the coming year, there will be more money to go toward infrastructure.  I will continue to seek additional avenues of funding that can be used for road construction instead of continued repairs.

The unique issues of Precinct 3 require full focus and serious dedication.  I am willing to be on equipment assisting employees as well as in Commissioner’s court.

Thank you for your continued support!
