June 1-6 on FaceBook

Note: So it’s been a busy week and I have gotten behind in the Daily Updates from FaceBook. I hope to be back doing this daily starting Monday. But, here’s what we shared on FaceBook.

  • Kevin Godfrey posted early Saturday morning about the Mary Lou Glass Park Project: With all of the unrest and chaos in the world around us it’s amazing to see what we are capable when we show love and compassion rather than hate. This morning I ran by the fitness trail and was overwhelmed with emotions at what was done. JP Abernathy, a fellow school board trustee, has graciously removed the vegetation covering the trail. It is no longer an impassable path but a fully functioning ¼ mile trail. There is still a lot of work to be done but the project that could have taken a year will now be completed in months. Ella and I invite everyone to go take a look and give a huge thank you to JP! Please share so everyone can see the positive things that can happen when we come together, we can move mountains. It’s time to get movin’ and groovin’! Video
