The Opera House Theatre Players have canceled the scheduled October production of the Poe radio script due to unexpected circumstances but will likely mount another production during the holiday period in early December.
Theatre president and artistic-managing director Marcia Thomas said that the group is sorry the change of plans was necessary and anyone who purchased a ticket online or at the ticket outlet will be reimbursed immediately.
She also reminded citizens that now is the time to renew membership in the theatre or become a new member since it is the opening of the thespian groups 34th season of live theatre in Jefferson, still without a theatre house.
